Walter Kidd Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 God bless the Heart of Midlothian - we are and always will be the only team in Edinburgh. Walter Kidd - shared a table with the BuzzBomb, Walter Kidd and Gary Mackay. You'll never take the Gorgie. I love a paaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarty.

Boris Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 did you actually watch him. Yes. I was more of a Cowie man if truth be told, however I HAVE been watching Neilson (or rather, have been forced to watch) over the last three seasons. Quite simply, he isn't good enough.
tinydancer Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Zico Zico Zico We only played for 20 minutes and emerged glorious again. The party started a long time ago!!!
colinmaroon Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 did you actually watch him. I did - every game he played for the first team!!! He was inspirational!!! He won MotM more times than I care to remember!!! Not the greatest - no - but streets ahead of anything in recent years!!! The true Zico!!! ................ .......................

Not the greatest - no - but streets ahead of anything in recent years!!! The true Zico!!! ................ ....................... HE WAS PISH, SERIOUSLY PISH, as slow as Petric and without any skill whatsoever probably cost us the 85/86 league title, Barasa in disguise
Glamorgan Jambo Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 I did - every game he played for the first team!!! He was inspirational!!! He won MotM more times than I care to remember!!! Not the greatest - no - but streets ahead of anything in recent years!!! The true Zico!!! ................ ....................... I wouldn't eulogise him as much as Colin but he was in and around the 1st team for the best part of 15 years and pulled us through some pretty dark days. Remember his goal against Dundee Utd in the League Cup game at Tynie in the snow....

Remember his goal against Dundee Utd in the League Cup game at Tynie in the snow.... i think you might find it was alec macdonald et al that brought us through the dark days, i never said kidd was not commited to the cause, but he was a bad player
Sherlock Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 HE WAS PISH, SERIOUSLY PISH, as slow as Petric and without any skill whatsoever probably cost us the 85/86 league title, Barasa in disguise Aye, that's right. WK cost us the 85/86 title. Jeez.

Gotta go..... PS Your comment about him almost costing us the title is nonsense. You aren't George Cowie by any chance?
bigwull22 Posted January 19, 2008 Posted January 19, 2008 Aye, that's right. WK cost us the 85/86 title. Jeez. take yer goggles off he was rank, very impressive in our relegation years too

Where in this thread have i given my opinion on him? I am merely using sarcasm to highlight the stupidity of your statement. WK cost us the 85/86 title. Damn him, damn him to hell!

MacDonald Jardine Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 HE WAS PISH, SERIOUSLY PISH, as slow as Petric and without any skill whatsoever probably cost us the 85/86 league title, Barasa in disguise Possibly the most ridiculous statement ever on here.
bigwull22 Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 Zico - Gorgie Legend. was called Zico as a joke because he was so sh**e
MacDonald Jardine Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 was called Zico as a joke because he was so sh**e It started when he went on "mazy" runs in the 1st Division days. They tended to involve kicking the ball in front of him and running right through players. It was remarkable how successful it was,
winston churchill Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 davie cooper was **** scared of him:)
Sherlock Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 I can still remember the first time he played up aganst Mark Walters - had the pish ripped right out of him. I can still remember the second time he was up against Mark Walters - kicked him up and down the park. Walters always looked like he was bricking himself every time he played against Zico after that. Quality.
Dazo Posted January 20, 2008 Posted January 20, 2008 was called Zico as a joke because he was so sh**e So whats your nickname ?? I would guess Mensa.
