Toxteth O'Grady
Hi folks. trying to search for my Grandad who has probably died by now. Any ideas any free websites I could find info? Ta. I know that the Salvation Army are very good at this and probably only charge a small donation. Register House at the East End could also help but they will charge. Good luck. When I saw the thread title I though of IrvineJambo (died online)
Sherlock
Hi folks. trying to search for my Grandad who has probably died by now. Any ideas any free websites I could find info? Ta. Don't know about websites but nip into the National Archives at the East End of Princes Street. All deaths in Scotland are registered there. His name, last known address or general location and his date of birth should be enough i think. If he wasn't Scottish, i don't know where you would find info. Guest Tynie Bubbles
I think any public library has access to the electoral register and anybody is entitled to view that. By entering his name into the search engine on there it might narrow your search down considerably. Hopefully he didn't have too common a name. Hope you find what you are looking for.
