heartgarfunkel
One of my happiest memories is the extremely frequent 'broadside' confrontations with Hibs buses on Hartley Hat-trick day just over 5 years ago. Was on a banger from the Ship Inn in Mussy, and had the pleasure of very many Hibee coaches passing us on the M8. To say we blew every one out the water is an understatement. Gesticulationtastic. Even the Hibbys were laughing at the full gorilla masks sported by several deckhands on our Man o' War. Made up for that **** Mowbray insisting it be played at Hampden rather than Murrayfield so his footballing side could exploit the wide pitch and demonstrate their Hibernian way of playing it on the ground, as the ball is round, at pace, and with flair. Cue one of the greatest derby cup semi-final leatherings in recorded world history. Any other naval tarmac sinkings from that day or others? The People's Chimp
I'm surprised you passed any, given their favourite excuse for the piss poor hibs attendance. "Thousands were unable to make the game as the Police turned back our buses on the M8."
