Martin_T
http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/football/scot_div_1/8342308.stm Ryan McGowan nearly scored a late equaliser for Ayr today, he seemed to be playing right back judging by the team line ups. Was speaking to my Ayr United speaking colleague during the week, and he was saying that Ryan had been playing out on the right wing since his debut and hadn't looked as effective there, not surprising considering he's played a fair amount of his football at centre half I suppose! He's still been one of their best players in each game though.

He's still been one of their best players in each game though. He started off playing central M/F then right M/F, now RB. I don't think he's played CB yet, but he's still got a few weeks left. Of the other loanees: Ryan Wallace was subbed at 1-1 in Raith's game against Dunfermline which they went on to lose 1-2. Mark Ridgers made his debut for East Fife against Peterhead and again lost 1-2, going down to 10 men and conceding a penalty in the last 5 mins. Mark was also booked a couple of minutes earlier. Stephen Husband came on a sub for Livingston for the last half hour in their 6-1 win away to Elgin. Johnny Brown was suspended after being red carded last week.
