Speaking of what to put on it...I was told (at Ace) to use hand creamy stuff so went for Vaseline intensive Care.

My mate, however, got one done somewhere nearer town centre and they recommended .....wait for it.....Preparation H !!!

When he asked for it at the chemist their first question was 'Just got a tattoo done?'

My hubby got a tattoo at Ace just after Christmas. It's a scroll with a bit of the Declaration of Arbroath of his left arm. Billy recommended he use Bepanthen cream. He used it and had no scabs or itching at all just a bit of skin peeling.

Just had the exact same done an hour ago.

Although my arm has less freckles on it because I'm no ginger. :)

It is a smart tattoo!! Just make sure you don't pick the scabs cause it will just scar!! Anne has had four tattoos but as she has had to get one re-done and one as a cover over she only really has two to show for it!!

Really want my fifth one but gonna wait a while!!

Haha, exactly the same thing happened to me. Told the girl in the chemist I had haemoroids the size of watermelons, the look on her face was worth the embarrasment. Found that the Bepanthene stuff was the best though. Harldy any scabbing and healed really quick. When it gets too itchy a good slap seems to provide some relief. On the tatto like, not the coupon.

My tattoo's bleeding like feck. But it wiz worth it.

From a true hearts fan ;)

Stop being a big jessie. Mind you it's a bit od to still be bleeding this far after the job. Have you washed it yet? gently rinse it with some warm water and then dab it dry. Then apply your choice of after treatment.
