In all honesty Hearts are an Edinburgh institution that will go on forever. Buffalo Bill
I would hope the Supporters' Trust re-registers the club's name (or new name) and we can somehow all accept that the new HMFC is the agreed reincarnation of the club. We'd need to either swallow up a smaller league club or start in the junior/EofS leagues. We would also need to find somethere to play. I have no doubt we'd lose a lot of supporters. Buffalo Bill . boabyarsebiscuit
If the little Russian dwarf tries to close us down? What do we do? Do we block book Ryanair? Do we tell our Mums? If we go lalalalalalalalalalallalalalalalla will it go away? Well I can imagine what many Kickbackers will do on here. 1. A certain poster comes on here and tells everyone shutting down a club is normal. After all, the owners of Fiorentina shut their club down, and look at them now. They nearly made the UEFA Cup Final last season! 2. Numerous posters come on and say "I told you so". 3. Numerous other posters come on and say "The I told you so brigade can GTF!". And follow this up with "You hobos brought this on yourselves by wishing for it on Kickback" posts by the dozen. 4. Certain posters blame Oxford based academics for stirring it up with CHARM and making Mr Romanov punish us. These are the same posters who said that Oxford based academics silly attempts to organise the support wouldn't be taken notice of by Mr Romanov. 5. Those posters also offer virtual square go's to anyone asking what they've been doing about the situation. 6. Then when pulled up about it, deny offering anybody any virtual square go's. 7. There are 320 threads blaming "Glory Hunter Stay Away Fans". Almost as many as were posted in the preceding months telling "Glory Hunter Stay Away Fans" not to go to games if they don't like the way Hearts are being run. 8. A certain poster continues to tell all JKB-ers that everything is "normal". Look at Bradford Park Avenue and how well they've been doing in the U17 Bradford Youth League. And Accrington Stanley are well on their way back to former glories, a mere 45 years after they were shut down.

If we go lalalalalalalalalalallalalalalalla will it go away? I think that the problem you have highlighted is one of the reasons there are still so many people in denial. The reality is there is sod all we could probably do, and the consequences are not worth thinking about, therefore pretending that nothing bad will ever happen and arguing to the hilt about it is their way of dealing with it. Its the equivalent of not having enough money to pay your bills and just putting bills straight in the bucket.

Nelly Terraces
I think we should take inspiration from fiorentina, middlesborough 1986, accrington stanley, airdrie utd etc That's a bit negative isn't it? thinking we're going to have to go down that route? Surely under the stewardship on Vladimir Romanov and his UBIG organisation, we have nothing to worry about:mw_rolleyes:.
Dandyman
This will never happen but you never know How many really rich hearts fans do you think there are? Just say 15 of the richest fans got together and put 4 Million in each to buy out Romanov, then each put ?3.5 Million a year which would give us about ?52.5 Million a year. Alternatively we could have 30 Thousand fans all put about ?2000 in a year lol

So in other word Hearts are gone and all the moaners get their way. If they cant agree to support the club now, how do you think they will rally round a new team. Say for example there ends up two teams with Hearts as the theme, which one will win out in the end. No matter how bad people think VR is, just what have they come up with that's any better?
