Gav Aitchison
York Hearts held their second St Andrew's Night Celebration last night at the Park Inn Hotel in York. Superb night, with about 70 people there, including ex-Hearts stars Roy Kay and Henry Smith and current striker Mike Tullberg. Big thanks to Mike, who headed down specially from Edinburgh with his girlfriend to join us (thanks too to HMFC for arranging that). Not sure he quite knew what to expect, but he and his girlfriend were superb company and helped make it a brilliant night. There are some pix here for anyone interested: http://mainlyfax.fotopic.net/c1617931_1.html Also, we've been collecting for Cancer Research this season, through a sponsored run and other events. We've got just over ?3,000 so far (online and offline) but it'd be great if any other Jambos wanted to help us top up the total: http://www.run10ksponsorme.org/YorkHearts

I'M IBRAHIM TALL
Fair play to Mike Tullberg, if my Mrs looked like his, I wouldnt bother my arse training or playing football in the cold and the rain either. She's Roasting!!!! Good work fella. Says a lot for the guy to travel down to York though. Well done everyone.
Gav Aitchison
Yeah, he was a top bloke. Hopefully the specialist will sort his injury and he can get a chance in the New Year.
Samster
Says a lot for the guy to travel down to York though. Well done everyone. That's kind of what I was thinking. He's new to the club and has only played 2 or 3 matches but what this says to me is he's settled in really well and is happy to do things like this. There will be the usual 'wage thief' comments but there's not a lot the guy can do about being injured. Incidentally Gav what did he say about that? Is he champing at the bit to get back playing?
