basher161
Well he is according to the Daily Ranger! Another player who has frustrated Laszlo is Laryea Kingston, who has found himself the subject of whispers. It has been suggested the midfielder doesn't want to play as is seeking a move. But Laszlo solved the mystery, insisting the Jamaican is injured and there is nothing more sinister going on behind the scenes. He said: "At the moment he is with the doctors and physios and he may see a specialist soon. "He has a pain in his thigh and as long as he is injured he won't train. I hope he is fit soon but if he says he is injured then I can't play him. "I have no problem with Laryea because he is very important. We won the last time without him but he is a fantastic player." Laszlo insists Kingston is a key part of his future plans - but if a big bid comes in then he'll drive him to his new employers himself. He said: "I would like to keep him but if, say, Chelsea come in with ?20million then I'll drive him there."

How does he come to the conclusion that he is Jamaican, most likely a guess through racial stereotyping

Rawrrrrrrr
Yes fair enough the person is in a rush, but.... How does he come to the conclusion that he is Jamaican, most likely a guess through racial stereotyping Or more likely he had just wrongly picked up a nationality at some point and recalled it as correct Maybe your perfect but I think most normal people have at one time or other accidentally misnamed/misdescribed something innocently due to a simple slip of the tongue/misthought Slopppy journalism but certainly not racial in the least - at least in my opinion, in fact I think its quite sad the first thing thought of in such a mistake is that its racist Just look at Zola the other day suggesting the Drogba incident was racial, how did he work that out? simply cause he was black. Chris Benoit
I take you missed Malky Mcfrench's posts? Gotta stick up for my brother here he doesn't mention anyone being racist just accuses the journalist (and i use that term loosely) of using racial stereotypes which is different! Paolo
Either way, it is a basic fact that the journalist got wrong. He shouldn't have, and neither should the Editor.

Your lucky if he worth 2mill. As for the jamican thing,, it could just be a simple mistake.. Im sure people would have all ready foned up the daily ****** and told them about this big mistake. Dont see how this is racist tho, the reporter only got the country wrong!
Stupid Sexy Flanders
Either way, it is a basic fact that the journalist got wrong. He shouldn't have, and neither should the Editor. Yep, that should never have been allowed to happen. It's not even just that he's from Ghana, he actually plays for them too! Surely they've reported on him being away on International duty before, and mentioned who he was actually playing for!
