jamcow1
just did another quick check and compared or points total from last year to this year at the same point of the season, and we had 14 points with more goals scored and fewer conceded. so are we any better? i for one think that they way csaba wants the team to play will eventually work but there is going to have to be an exodus of players cuz the current crop, which is basically the same as last year just aint good enough! More goals scored and less conceded? but both seasons total is 14pts. The play may be slightly better but points mean prizes! If we cant score mor goals the we will not get any better. It really is not rocket science!

During Decemeber/Jan time did we not have a 7 game (?) losing streak or something? Hopefully we WON'T have that this season, so top 6 should be more likely

Hopefully we WON'T have that this season, so top 6 should be more likely Yep! Games 1-11, 14 Points Games 12-22, 7 Points Games 23-33, 21 Points Fourteen Points isn't cause for celebration at this stage and it wasn't at this stage last season but back then it was the impending nightmare that would really screw things up. If we're on 14 points with internal tensions having brought the squad to the brink of implosion with nobody getting on with anybody and the absence of any real leadership then we truly are no better off than this point last year. If the outward appearance of a more united and focused squad aren't deceptive and if, as it seems, Csaba has a definite vision of how he wants things done then we are in a more secure position than last year
givememychoice
ok...so celtic drew with man utd last night. Currently the stats will show celtic to be equal to man utd going by previous game. The reality is we have lost players. We sorely miss Velicka (even his doubters must wish he was here at the moment?). We have tightened the wage budget. Csaba has had 11 league games. Yes, our performance v celtic was poor, but v aberdeen and hibs there was far more grit in our performances. There is improvement and i can see potential for more improvement. How long did jeffries take to turn us round? More than 11 games, thats for sure.
bighalders
Nah, we're better off this season, courtesy of the footballing genius from managing in Uganda, the leading light in world football, 4-5-1 is the future. Wait till you see Sir Alex copy Csaba, Ronaldo and Rooney will be dropped soon, Sir Alex will see how fantastic Hearts have become over the last 3 years and will want some of our success. Csaba, your the man!

Csaba, your the man! You're the man! Bravo, encore, more more! We're better off this season without a doubt. Atleast the players on the park seem to know the formation which is more than can be said for last year. Early days but moving forward i think Suppose might be some comings and goings in Jan too (yeh yeh, the Kaunas bus, heard it before, dont bother)
