stirlingshirejambo
Really surprised to hear Harry Redknapp being interviewed as the new Spurs manager. They didn't hang about getting a replacement. Think he will do well don't know what will happen to Pompey though

It shows how much money is in the English game when they can shell out 20 million getting the new manager and paying staff off.
Tommy Wiseau
Brilliant move by Spurs. The whole sorry entourage has been emptied, and replaced by a guy with passion and nous who will get them up the league in no time. I honestly don't think they could have gone for a more appropriate manager. A few of the wasters at Spurs will be bricking themselves at this - guys like Bentley, Lennon and Woodgate will be delighted.
Jambof3tornado
I think Rednapp is one of the best coaches down there and will have spurs mid table by xmas.
Malinga the Swinga
I think rednapp sums up what is wrong with football. promises pompey that this is his last job, and then when he sees the cheque book waved about, it is thanks very much pompey, see you later. the man is a mercenary and a bung taker. It's a good point but Ramos is still to blame for the constant changing of team (particularly the midfield), both formation, tactics and player personel and Comolli/Ramos are to blame for the duff signings of Gomes, Corluka etc. Glad to get Harry in, at least now we won't be relegated. Tommy Wiseau
Told you. Big 'Arry is the perfect man for the job there. Apparently he was told by Levy he was just getting unveiled today - he refused, and insisted on not only giving the players team talks pre-match and at half time, but on sitting in the dugout coaching them from the sidelines. The reaction of the players speaks for itself.

The reaction of the players speaks for itself. Indeed it does. Half arsed, overpaid, unprofessional bunch of wasters who, because 'Appy 'Arry will indulge their drinking, partying and bonking culture, will get results in the short term... before it all goes tits up again this time next year. I agree 100% with what andya said above: Harry Redknapp sums up everything that is wrong with modern football. He's a disloyal, corrupt, greedy ****, which is precisely why he knows how to handle modern footballers. So Spurs will go on to confirm 11th place, keep underachieving next season... before winning the FA Cup in 2011 under Jurgen Klinsmann. It's the Spurs way. Mr Romanov Saviour of HMFC
Why does absolutely everyone love Harry Redknapp?? I think he's a total tosser and a right ugly man. Dodgy barsteward but he is some sort of media darling and seen as an all round good guy!
