Carl Spackler
I was in a pub at lunchtime (A Brewers Fare if you can call that a pub) and they had a Christmas Tree up. Checking my watch I confirmed it was the 14th of October and not nearly 12 days before Christmas yet. Tescos Direct just sent me and email. It had a distinctly Christmas theme. I like Christmas. These erses are spoiling it through dilution. Any other reportable cases? Name and shame.
yvonnejambo
We have had a wide range of Christmas selection boxes etc on sale in our supermarket for last few weeks. Which is quite sickening, but seeing a Christmas tree is very sad!

I didn't realise people actually still wore watches

alwaysthereinspirit
Home Depot has all their Christmas stuff in the shelves. Namco were I get my pool supplies has all their Christmas stuff up and ready. It certainly puts a damper on the Christmas spirit.
Munch
Its a joke mate, why not get the Easter Eggs out now as well, we have not even had the clocks change yet, never mind Halloween, and Guy Fox Night.
chester copperpot
I saw stuff in Tesco's on Monday night for sale. Saw some Santa's etc etc, thinking to myself, must be the left over stock from last year. Was it feck, its the new stock in for this year. FFS far too early. Still got my daughters birthday to get out the road before I even contemplate Xmas. *****. I hate the supermarkets, money grabbing bassa's. But they're much cheaper than the local one's so what can you do.
Gabriel
With the media predicting economic doom and gloom, the retail sector will be pinning its hopes on strong Christmas sales and will thus seek to maximise these by beginning as early as possible. On the continent it is still far more traditional with decorations in the Netherlands not really going up until December.
