topcat
I'd read people talking about the Real Radio Phine in on here but never actually listened to it till last night. I thought I'll give it a listen out of curiousity. I tried hard and was able to listen to 23 minutes before I couldn't bear any more and had to switch to Radio 3 Is that a record? Or is there somebody out there who has managed to listen to more than 23minutes?

Or is there somebody out there who has managed to listen to more than 23minutes? Previously loved the show. Had decent banter etc. Now it is practically ALL OF content. Last time I phoned in, I said to Ewen that I had 2 points. I briefly made the 1st one (about Steve Banks) and I was cut off before I could make the 2nd point. I assume that because the topic was Hearts, it didn't deserve too much airtime. On the other hand, plenty of guys are talking about the OF get to make a couple of points no problem. Also, Ewen & Roughies banter is becoming tedious & utterly boring. The amount of times that they shout at/over each other, when talking about pi sh is just wasting caller time. Still, I suppose that the mindless drones with OF conections in the west "pure soak it up". .

Commander Harris
I am rather close to someone who listens all the time, its depressing. Any ideas of how I can get them to stop? They need a 12 step program: 1. We admitted we were powerless over the real radio phone in — that our lives had become unmanageable. 2. Came to believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. 3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him. 4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. 5. Admitted to God, to ourselves, and to another human being the exact nature of our wrongs. 6. Were entirely ready to have God remove all these defects of character. 7. Humbly asked Him to remove our shortcomings. 8. Made a list of all persons we had harmed, and became willing to make amends to them all. 9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible, except when to do so would injure them or others. 10. Continued to take personal inventory and when we were wrong promptly admitted it. 11. Sought through prayer and meditation to improve our conscious contact with God as we understood Him, praying only for knowledge of His Will for us and the power to carry that out. 12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to real radio phone in addicts, and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
