Laurie
Good evening, one and all. A great length of time has passed since I was last a regular "poster" in the Kickback community. Times seem to have changed since I was last here, new faces(so to speak), new threads and even the damn site URL has changed. Struggling to keep up with and to take in all these changes, but I'm trying. Anyway just for a bit of nostalgia just thought I'd bring up some of the great hreads of the past, when I felt a part of this great online society. There was the "Swally in the Caley" threads after Kickbackers socialised and laughed in the once great Caledonian Sample Rooms after a famous Hearts victory. The old "Best Looking Female Kickbacker" was always a thought provoking and intense discussion, and of course anything posted by PC15 generally got even the greatest minds of our famous board thinking. All in all it was a great place to be, and I just hope even though things have changed a bit, it is still a place where everybody wants to go, and everybody knows your name.. *Cue Cheers Music*

Laurie
Oh aye I most certainly did whisk you off your feet after nights in the Caley, didn't I my dear? Although it didn't come close to comparing to our food fights in the Rainbow Arch...

BigC
We haven't had a "Bad Things You Have Done/Confess Your Worst Sin" thread for a while. Mine included announcing my mate losing his virginity to a packed night club, setting fire to dead Christmas trees, closing off roads.... amongst other things. From other posters the highlights included: Putting a golf flag and pin through a letter box, pooing or puking in almost everything, killing cats/rabbits/hamsters, kicking Frank McGarvey at fives, and chucking a young annoying bloke on holiday naked into the hotel corridor so that a group of English lads could stick a tea spoon fat end first where you don't want a teaspoon shoved. Cracking banter!

Generic Username
I wish we still had the IJ / Creag threads. It would make the world a better place if we did. I also miss, from the KB of old, threads getting closed down left/right/centre and the constant changing of username by mawkeen.

Tom Heaney
Not to be picky But it was "The Caley Swalley" and the first one was 1998. When a bunch of the Stateside Kickbackers attended when across for the final. Most were also across for the Dunfermilne game the week before so that was when the first one was. Scottt Wilson was even in attendance. Some of the names I also remember were , Grant Thorburn , Pam , Diane, Kevin Littlejohn , Grainger. Some of the Stateside guys were Donald Cameron , Johnny Griffths, Bill Duff. One of the highlights of the first one must have been George (cant remember his last name) launching a pint of Caley 80' thru the open sunroof of a bunch of Hobos. Probably not the brightest thing to do, but it was funny at the time
Morry
I started a thread a few weeks ago about the maroon platoon - your the man in charge I believe?! What's the deal?! The Swalley doon the Calley cost me my HND I'm certain of it! It's not big but it was clever! I personally liked the 'KB readers wifes thread' Now its all political debates
Toggie88
The 'Swalley in the Caley' was a great laugh. Did a splinter group not form in the Diggers though? I remember being with PC15 who spilt some womens drink, she forced him to buy him another one. He got bored waiting at the bar so we ran back to the Calley. Good times. elvisisgod
I haven't been on for a while either but I remember various threads such as 'What are you listening to now', the ones where you had to use the last two ;etters of the previous word to start the next one and Word association, where you typed in whatever word the previous one made you think of. Had some funny posts those ones

No. PC 15 was 17-18 when he started using Kickback. If he seemed like a childish little boy, it's probably because he was one.
