Groundstaff had been working on the playing surface since 0300 on Saturday morning, but the match official deemed it unplayable following inspection. The SFL match between Albion Rovers and Stranraer is also off, although the match at Elgin City goes ahead. Other inspections are scheduled for the games at Clyde and Raith Rovers. On Friday the First Division matches at Partick Thistle and Livingston were called off. Inspections Saturday 1015 - Raith Rovers v Berwick Rangers 1045 - Clyde v Hamilton Accies nothing here. This was mentioned on BBC, during the midweek SC highlights prog, as they are likely to have about 5 games over a fortnight on the pitch and two games on consecutive days..............with a surface that is already becoming notorious !
