They have a very strong prey drive so you need to teach them the difference between attacking rabbits and other dogs.

What kind of dog is yours? I've heard various stories where it's usually greyhounds being attacked by other dogs. Not generally the other way around. That's a common misconception that doesn't really stand up to much scrutiny these days. Most studies seem to suggest they're moderate at most which puts them level with spaniels and less prey driven than Jack Russels, staffys etc. I've read that inadequate socialisation of racing greyhounds when they're young can lead them to confuse tiny dogs with rabbits or whatever but that's kind of rare. The worst dog related injuries I've ever seen were from a Siberian Husky but I wouldn't really class them as being dangerous or aggressive. Genuinely never heard of a greyhound attacking a collie sized dog before. They're generally extremely placid and reluctant to fight. I guess there are dicks of all types of dog breeds.
