superjack
now the mak is back i think him and gary glen would do well up front together. i thimk a possible return of 30+ goals between them.
Hilary Briss
I cant believe how many posts on here talking Makela up. Have you seen him play??? He should be first out the door in the cull.
suds66
Thank's for making me smile! No disrespect mate, Glen has potential, I don't think Makela has the quality to cut it in the SPL, as bad as it is. The rest, what a joke! IMHO, HMFC need to spend money on two or three guys who know how to put the ball in the string.
K1874M
Makela certainly has a chance of a game this season unless signings happen.
kjc2006
Not many options at the moment so I would go with Glen and Nade(if he loses some weight)
Guest jambomickey
think it's obvious we need to sign a couple of quality strikers
cosanostra
We desperately need 2 decent strikers. I'd play Nade and Glen at the moment. Makela is one of the least talented footballer i've seen play for us and Clum is actually worse than that.
Bordeaux 03
Glen is not ready to play a full SPL season yet he should be eased in slowly. The fact that we have not sold Makela after all this time and he is in the squad for Germany shows he still has a chance to make the first team. I would still be willing to give him a chance. bighusref
I cant believe how many posts on here talking Makela up. Have you seen him play??? He should be first out the door in the cull. In a squad that has Zaliukas Ksanavicius Ivaskevicius Neilson Elliot You label Makela (a striker that, in the two games he has started as a central striker scored four goals) as the first out of the door? Makela may not be Ruud Van Nistelrooy, but I would give him a half dozen games up front to prove/disprove that.

Remembering that Michael Stewart is our main playmaker and dead ball specialist saddens me even further.

Jam Tarts 1874
Good to see Steven Husband and David Templeton going to Germany. Husband had a number of excellent games in the reserves towards the end of last season.
superjack
I cant believe how many posts on here talking Makela up. Have you seen him play??? He should be first out the door in the cull. please tell me why the mak should be first out the door , he is a striker who scores goals. i'm sure his goals/games ratio is better than anyone else at the club. i know he is not the most talented footballer but , as i said above , he bangs them in , IMO i think he could be our top scorer if he is given a decent run in the first team. i also think that now is the time to bring glen into the starting line up as i think the best way to get him ready for the SPL is for him to play in the SPL on a regular basis. i'm sure robbo was not bled in slowly and look how he turned out. not saying glenda is the new robbo but a good run in the team with the mak will result in numerous goals for us
