Bungalow Bill
I think that was an Edinburgh flight too. A couple of years ago I was flying from Glasgow to Greece, and a rammy almost started while we were boarding. People being told to calm down. Have never flown from Glasgow since. Place was full of folk just getting tanked up, seemed worse than other airports.
manaliveits105
20th April An EasyJet flight to Tenerife was forced to divert after two passengers became involved in a rammy. The EZY3113 from Glasgow had to land at Bristol Airport on Saturday, where it was met by officers on the tarmac. The two individuals who were behaving 'disruptively' when then escorted off the plane by cops. it's a friendly city so it is definettly

Australis
Not a fight but I was in the Scotland travel club in the 80s We won 1-0 in Israel. On my flight back none of the Scotland fans and it was a plane full of them would sit down in their seats. All very jovial and boisterous lots of singing and dancing, as we were all tanked up with drink but enjoying ourselves. Stewardesses constantly asking everyone to sit in their seats but ignored. The pilot then said snow had covered Scotland and that runway was being cleared of snow in Glasgow. As we came down through the clouds it was pure white everywhere. Everyone suddenly took their seats strapped in and it was total silence as the pilot landed the plane. In short, we were all shoiting it. As soon as the plane started to slow down after landing most stood up and clapped and cheered the pilot. Remember the stewardesses faces saying look at all those smart alex tough guys now lol. I had the same experience when I flew from Glasgow once. Even before you got through security to the bars, there were folk tanning carry-outs as they were waiting in the check-in queue. Knew it was going to be an "eventful" flight even then. Decided I would try to avoid flying from Glasgow again.
Statts1976uk
Last company I used to work for had a hangar near Alicante so I was out there every 4-6 weeks. Flew Jet2 and during the winter months it wasn't too bad as it was mainly OAPs trying to get a bit of winter sun but I always used to dread from the Easter holidays onwards. It was always the same lots of grown men and also full families in full Old Firm kit boarding to head to Benidorm. It didn't matter what time of day that you caught your flight you just knew it wasn't going to be a quiet one.
CostaJambo
Not a fight but I worked with a guy who had been on a flight back from the Caribbean and the only passengers were one old couple and his rugby tour! The crew just let them serve their own drinks and ended up joining the party and in the carnage that ensued one of the air hostesses got VERY friendly with seven different rugby players, one of whom actually dated her for a while afterwards! Regardless of the truth about there being snow in Glasgow, I'd have been tempted, as the pilot, to start pulling wheelies and throwing in a few handbrake turns just to get some of the dickheads to papper their kex. Seems too many find it a necessity for much shorter flights: https://uk.news.yahoo.com/hedonistic-british-tourists-drink-booze-120921683.html The budget airlines probably now rely on the alcoholics selling out their marked up booze. Best thing about it is it keeps all of them in one place, leaves the rest of the resort clear, well apart for the Parkhead bar for the other lot.
