Very solid 3 Rowles. his interceptions are excellent and starting to carry ball forward now 4 Kingsley. very reliable 5 Sibbick. had potential, but it is time to move him on. 6 Neilson. High hopes for this lad. Will replace Sibbick and kick on hopefully
davie1980
Kent (best CB IMO, actually have him nicking it against a fully fit Halkett) Kingsley (on a par at least with Kent but better full back and lacks physicality of ither two) Halkett (tough call, love him but have to factor availability) Rowles (Can't think of many times we've had a 4th choice players anywhere that walks into most otger sides, pretty good, has had dips) Sibbick (I don't think he's shite, reckon there's a player in there with the right choaching and system, clear 5th place though) Neilson (probably harsh having him 6th as I'm sure the potential is there to climb the chart)

BigAlim
Halkett has barely played for a couple of years so it’s hard to place him now. Rowles has improved massively in a short space of time, Kingsley is also brilliant and Kent is the old castle rock. For me the current dilemma is how do we fit Rowles, Kingsley and Cochrane into our first XI

JayTeeJnr
Based on what I’ve seen this season: 1. Kent 2. Rowles 3. Kingsley 4. Halkett 5. Sibbick * Difficult to compare Neilson when he’s playing in a different division

Bazzas right boot
Not a simple answer really. Rowles is a good footballer but lacks the aggressiveness and physical presence to be a complete cb, this will likely improve as he peaks tho- it already is. He is however, left footed and can play in the middle of a back three or at lcb. He's also quite pacey and good at winning the ball on the ground. Kent is the most commanding, but also looks awkward when not in the middle of a 3. He's made a massive difference tho due to his ariel ability and strength tho, he's a proper no **** about ch. Kingsley is versatile and a good defender, he's also a good player. Doesn't excel in any particular defensive strength, but also not particularly weak and is good across the board. He can even play rb! Halkett was probably the more complete ch pre injury, strong, quite mobile and aggressive, improving his distribution and good at cb or rcb- perfect ch for Scottish football. Sibbick- just isn't a ch. He's technical and pacey but lacks awareness, concentration along with an ariel and physical presence. Could possibly complement a back 3 with the likes of Kent and Rowles if he done the basics, but he fails at this too often imo. H2
Depends on the formation played. Sibbick given the opportunity has the skills and ability to be right at the top. One other player we have in particular has the skills and abilities, but makes error after error, playing the back pass or square ball when forward options are on, but he keeps getting played. Afford Sibbick that opportunity and he will be a top defender.

campbell
Any other season & Kent absolutely walks player of the year! What a difference he has made to that defence, we are soft anymore. One of the big reasons we have won so much away from home, IF shanks goes in the summer he’s my first pick for captain

micole
Rowles is possibly the most transformed player at Hearts, not that long ago the majority of supporters ( me included) wanted him gone, now he is a must on the team sheet IMO.
Mikey1874
Kingsley best for me. Has more intelligence. Does everything and will die for the team. Kent is a good player but occasionally caught out of position and has failed to offer an attacking threat.
