neilnunb
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-67955757 83 - almost forgot she was that old. Used to enjoy listening to her during the night. Edited January 12 by neilnunb
whodanny
Always enjoyed Annie's show's, she played a wide variety of music and always promoted young up and coming artists. There are very few of her kind around nowadays, and music is the worse for it. RIP Annie, you'll be missed. ♥️
Boab
She was great. OGWT was better with her at the helm. Got some great bands on.
Spellczech
She was old when I was young...
Tazio
Amazing to think that she was still promoting and championing new bands despite the fact she would have been a teenager when rock and roll first arrived in Britain. In her mid twenties for swinging London and in her late thirties for punk!
Victorian
Astounded at the age. 6 years older than Bob Harris, who seems to have been old since biblical times. Only a couple of years younger than John Peel would have been.

I remember hearing her and thinking she had a really sexy voice then found out she was "old". Although I was never a great fan (ie I didn't go out my way to listen to her), I'm saddened by her passing. She'll be enjoying it, I'm sure. davemclaren
I didn't realise she was older than Bob Harris. She certainly opened up ogwt to newer styles of music.
The White Cockade
I met her back in the mid 70’s when she was handing out the prizes at the British Youth Club Quiz Final down South somewhere can’t remember where! Got an autographed picture from her and she wasn’t all that young then

Mikey1874
She developed the interaction with listeners. She often did read outs of listener letters \ requests which is what we had at the time.
