CF11JamTart
I've had a soft spot for Bordeaux since that trip. I knew that they were in decline, but I hadn't realised that extent to which it was all unravelling. https://www.theguardian.com/football/2022/jun/29/bordeaux-ligue-1-champions-third-tier-12-years-champions-league-bayern-juventus
Tasavallan
Saint Etienne, Metz and Bordeaux relegated from League 1.
tian447
French football seems to be a bit of a basket case. Huge clubs collapsing, riots and pitch invasions, matches getting abandoned.
AlphonseCapone
Bordeux, Bordeux are falling apart, againnnnnn
RustyRightPeg
It’s a shame. Especially when they got a brand new stadium built for the Euros a few years back it’s an outstanding ground that looks like it’s gonna just go to waste.
PapaShango
Loved my trip across for the game, is still my favourite Hearts away trip in Europe. Loads of beer, wine and rum and a Hearts win on foreign soil! What an atmosphere in the Hearts end that night and absolute limbs when the goal went in. Who can forget being outside the Connemara before kick-off, so many of us that the road was shut.

Absolutely fantastic night. Sad to see them in this mess & possibly go bust. Looks like they had been on the decline the last couple seasons but the premature end of the 19/20 season & collapse of the TV deal (plus bad ownership) has ****ed them
indianajones
They scored the best goal i've ever seen at Tynecastle.

One of the best goals I've ever witnessed - I'd put it just behind Austin McCann vs Celtic. Didn't even get excited when it was played to him as I was so sure it was the wrong ball...
