The rules are changed for this week's challenge, so please read carefully.

 

In addition to predicting the outcome of the challenge match, you will need to submit 2 tie-breaker predictions.  Hopefully, we'll have a Sole Survivor by lunch time on Saturday.

 

Tie-breaker 1:  How many goals will Hearts score?  Closest to the correct answer wins the tie-breaker.

 

Tie-breaker 2: The minute of the game that Hearts score their first goal.  Closest to the correct minute wins the tie-breaker.

 

Also, and this is important, submit your prediction to me via PM, NOT by posting on the thread. That way, no-one has the advantage of seeing what others are predicting prior to his own prediction.

 

So .... 

 

A valid prediction, sent to me via PM, will have the following format:

 

HOME win

4 goals

23 minutes.

Here is the next challenge of the Elimination stage of the competition.

 

Hearts  v Livingston.  Saturday, September 25, 2021.

 

The outcome possibilities are: Home Win, or Away Win or Draw.  Each player chooses one of those outcomes by posting on this thread before the round deadline.

 

Remember, include your two tie-breakers as described above.  Also, send your prediction to me via PM.  When I've received all four predictions I'll post them on the thread, then the thread will be locked until after the match.

 

The deadline for posting is Friday, September 24 at 6PM, Edinburgh time.

The astute observers on JKB will have quickly spotted that the Sole Survivor competition will definitely end this weekend.

 

Anything other than a Hearts win means the competition is over with no winner.  Booo!

 

A Hearts win with either 1 or 2 goals scored means that the winner will be either @Auldreekie1874 or @corryjambo.

 

A Hearts win with either 3 or more goals scored means that the winner will be either @Gambo or @John Findlay
