Andy Tod was mentioned on the ‘players you’ve forgotten about thread’. Scored in a 3-2 win against the sheep. Played 3 games in total according to wiki.

Edit. Meant as reply to maroon sailor.

Probably at least half a dozen Lithuanians too.

Craig Beattie.

One of the best short term signings ever.

Just checked and the only other signing that window was Conor Shaughnessy who scrapes over the line with 11.

Three of the four signings from January 2020 didn't play 10 games between them - Sibbick, Langer and Avdijaj. Obviously hampered by injury, a pandemic and being a bit rubbish.

That Avidijaj boy was just a pure caper. Barely played a game since. Langer would be lower league/highland league standard.

Ashley Smith-Brown.

Must be one if the least succesful Premiership loans. Played 3 times: defeat to Elgin in LC, and defeat to Hamilton and draw with Partick in league. All away, never graced the Tynecastle pitch in a competitive game. Was on the bench for the LC penalty fiasco against Dunfermline and a home draw with Aberdeen. Otherwise injured for the rest of his loan. Never even in the squad for a win.

Not sure if this game is interesting or depressing.

Langer was unattached last season. Now seems to be playing in the regional fourth tier of German football.

Avdijaj is now with a top flight Austrian team having been with top flight Dutch and Cypriot teams last season. Man must have a good agent.

Aye I looked Avdijaj up but I don’t think this seasons stats have been updated yet. An absolute imposter.

who ?

Actually, I was half right.

Halliwell was an emergency loan signing for the below match:

But the player I had in my mind was Lee Hollis. He was the keeper that night.

I was at the game, we were god awful but it was a weakened side we fielded.

Don’t know why but Mark Gavin comes to mind.

Willie Irvine?

I’m pretty sure he had something to do with the ownership of a pub in Rose Street?
