luckyBatistuta
Hi, looking for some help please. I’m wanting to get a new driveway laid, but not sure who to go with. Does anyone have any recommendations, or pointers. I’m thinking about going for a grey resin finish with a grey block around the edge. Something like this…

lost in space
The resin does look good. Would have to have good drainage. Dont get stones - spend your life picking up leaves - or it looks scruffy. Dont get the blocks that look like bricks - spend your life trying to kill the weeds. Dont get "boys from the black stuff" - needs re-doing after a month. Dont get concrete - it cracks. Paving stones - much cheaper.

I suggest the old plank approach until you get it sorted Edited September 4, 2021 by Spellczech

Konrad von Carstein
How much, roughly, per square metre to lay tarmac?

No idea, but everything I’ve read about those resin driveways are decent. If done properly, it can look really good. They are also one of the cheapest option, plus the lowest maintenance.
