JackLadd
Looking forward to seeing this based on Steve Jones memoir. I see John Lydon refused Jones/Cook permission to use the songs unless a court ordered him, cantankerous old git or what. The case starts today in the High Court in London. Best most visceral rockin band ever in my book (for that short period).

Great band but Lydon is a bit of a dick. 🙁
Tazio
I recorded a live gig from the last reunion and the songs still stand up as great rock tunes. Loud and furious.

The studio album they did was turgid, over-produced bilge. They were better live but not even on the same planet as Brian James' songwriting and guitar riffs. That would have got the full Lydon sneer in

Costanza
4th June 1976 at the Lesser Free Trade Hall in Manchester is enough on it's own to ensure the Pistols legacy.
JackLadd
Lydon lost the case so the tv series can use the Pistols music, won't be another Sid and Nancy job. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-58303879
