Apart from it not being correct (we are HMFC and always will be) the only reason i can see for you doing that was if the club continued with HOMFC then they would need to buy the name from you. So if Hearts wished to they could appeal and you would have to prove that you run a business where 'homfc' is relevant to it. However it's unlikely Hearts will, and it's unlikely you'll use it so up to you whether you'd wish to renew it or not.
