If you book a free visit there is an oppurtunity to purchase a set of badges that you can pick up in the Museum on your visit.

We will be testing temperatures on arrival.

Keeping a visitor log for 28 days.

Providing Hand Sanitiser.

A one way system is in place and our guides will keep a safe distance.

I got my ticket prices slightly wrong

21/- = £22

It was the 7/6 ticket that was about £8


The cheapest tickets were 2/6 (12.5p) just over £2.60

Thu 17 Mar 10-4
Fri 18 Mar 10-4
Sat 19 Mar Closed
Sun 20 Mar Closed

NB due to a private event the Museum and Garden are closed on Sunday.

Our current thinking is that the boys from the 'Dance Club' were playing on the Meadows in 1873 but it wasn't 'Association' it was a 'form of rugby' as 'Association' was only first demonstrated in Edinburgh on 27 Dec 1893.
