Arbroath,

Think we should be reminding ourselves on what the next team we play said on ‘that’ vote.

from Arbroath website.

The Arbroath FC Board confirms that they unanimously agreed to vote in favour of the SPFL resolution, which was  to end the current season.

The preference would have been to complete our season, but with the restrictions imposed by the UK Government during the COVID-19 pandemic it is now apparent that will not be possible.

The overwhelming factor right now is the healthy and safety of everyone.  From our players to our supporters as well as our community and society as a whole. We also have to do what is best for Scottish football.

For everyone in the Scottish Game, it is vitally important that we unite as one  and as a club, Arbroath FC will continue to remain calm and humble whilst showing our fellow clubs the respect that they deserve.

I think it very clear the respect they felt Hearts deserved - ie none.

This should be the official match thread ritual: a reminder of how the scum we're playing voted and what public remarks they made.

Yup!

And let's pump this shower of trawler boys properly on Friday.

Was it not these arseholes raging recently because the game is being shown on tv? They thought thousands of us would be paying for their stream. 🤣🤣🤣

Can’t be too many games in Hearts’ history where 2 players scored a hat trick.

Think I was wearing an Eldorado duffle coat that day.

They would have preferred to complete the season but it was apparent that would not be possible.  Really?  The English didn't seem to think that nor many others.

Sincere thanks to the OP.  Got my dander up already for Friday night.  Smash them to pulp.

I remember a whisky brand were giving a crate to each player who scored a hat trick, that season.

I can’t remember if both Drew and Willie got a case.

This insignificant rabble deserve to be destroyed. The only thing in their favour is their colours.

Their only saving grace is that they voted in favour of reconstruction in the final indicative vote. But by then, the damage was effectively done.

Before folk get on their high horses, I'm just adding some nuance. Arbroath aren't the worst of the teams out there. I will reserve my real opprobrium for other teams who actively spoke out against us and who voted against us at every turn.

In saying that, I hope we hammer them.

Should never have loaned them a player this season either!!!!

nah. They did what a few of those rat clubs did and tried to look good when (as you say) the damage was done. Fek them.

He can’t play against us so, if he’s any good, it’s in our interests.  Unless they finish above is of course. 🤔

Dick spoke at our football club event about 20 years ago. Seemed a decent guy with some interesting stories and insights.

Focus on the job at hand.  Keep it professional, keep it clinical.

Hammer them.

Don't forget that GD can be important.

Someone on here is keeping a list of the clubs we are beating who voted against us.  Look forward to seeing it updated with Dundee and Arbroath.

Some of these clubs clearly voted thinking Hearts would bring down huge away support and help them financially.

THAT WORKED OUT WELL FOR THEM!
