None of any of that this Christmas, probably just a night of remembering how things were, and taking great pleasure in that, realising how fortunate I have been. Jambo-Jimbo Posted October 1, 2020 Share Posted October 1, 2020 Christmas isn't the same since the kids grew up and have all flown the nest. Typically Mrs JJ works Christmas day now, she often swaps shifts with younger nurses who have young children, so that they can spend Christmas with their kids. This year Miss JJ is due to come home (covid permitting) so Mrs JJ will be doing a half-day shift so that we can have a family meal together, albeit with only our youngest, but you know what I mean, of course all that could change depending upon where we are with Covid as at the Hospital it might be all hands on deck as was the case in March to May.
