¼½¾
If I'd worn one of those in 1975 I'd have been the strangest dressed kid in P7. (Not saying I wasn't anyway)

Tazio
I remember in the 70’s my brother going for a night out with the trench coat and suit with massive flares, platform shoes, and lapels about a foot wide thinking he looked the bee’s knees. Even as a school kid I knew he looked like a prat.

Did anyone else on here have a greeny/brown canvas army type shoulder bag with the brass studs ? I had one for school and an Adidas one for gym days. The Adidas bag was used without the strap which apparently was uncool in the 1970s ....... Never heard of the canvas army type bag. 🤷🏿♂️ You could buy them in the Army and Navy Stores though. There was was one at the foot of the walk. Apparently.

Correct, Vic. Not a trench as such but I treated myself to a Crombie greatcoat with my first months salary after finishing my masters. It rarely gets cold enough to wear it. Army Kit Bag, often seen being carried by a good few kids back in the day at gigs, I lived out of mine for about three years, still have it in the loft, much adorned and covered in graffiti but far too many memories to get rid of it.
