jager man
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53426419 What a Joke. Trying to pressure the Scottish government into letting them have pilot games with fans from 1st of August. (same as England) Pity they didn't seem too keen to pressure the and SPFL & Scottish government about getting the season restarted in May (same as England). Funny How the SPFL and Celtic are quick to highlight that the government wouldn't allow them to restart the season and they Just accepted it. Where as They are happy to put pressure on the goverment when they want fans back in the grounds.
five wan
What!! Is this the same fans that their club had to send emails out to to tell them to shower and wash before games cause they were stinking of b o? And they now expect them to wash their hands and wear masks, unbelievable

OTT
This is just another example on how little respect Celtic actually have for the governing body. The 'correct' way for this to be done is through the SFA who in turn lobby the government. Lawwell going on ahead directly contacting the government gives the appearance that Celtic are a law unto themselves. Which they are in practice. Its wrong. Our governing body is utterly toothless in reigning them in. Also, is it not actually a stronger argument for smaller clubs to trial it? Peterhead with a couple hundred fans for example. Ex member of the SaS
Don't forget it was Lawwell and Doncaster that canvased the Government to allow ONLY the top flight to train. Now kids can train and play but the Championship is still in limbo. Everything this mob do is for the benefit of Celtic and to the detriment of all the rest. Allowing fans in is a huge financial benefit to the bigot twins and if rumours are true Celtic need income before Christmas or they too are in trouble. frankblack
Government adviser Professor Jason Leitch isn't falling for this, and is insisting its still October: https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/53456048 I'd have thought that Hibs or Hearts playing socially distanced at Murrayfield with no away fans would be more realistic than teams who have 50k-60k home attendences trying to fill their own grounds. Its your typical hysterical reaction that you expect from Celtic, tbh. Glad the Scottish government isn't having it.
Tynecastlesmychurch
Let’s get this perfectly clear. Lawwel has absolutely no pressure to assert wether he likes it or not. Or even wether he realises it or not. He has absolutely no business whatsoever trying to convince anyone of anything. Especially when what he wants could put people at risk. We’ve not beaten this thing yet. Flare ups are still happening in England and parts of Europe. That’s why places like Leicester are in lockdown. jamboinglasgow
I think when those running clubs as pleading for fans to be let into games it shows that there is serious financial problems at the club. As much as I dont like those in charge of Scotland, I would trust them to make the right decision over people like Lawell who is just wanting punters in for money, not about what is safest for Scottish football. I would be amazed if there is more than a small amount of football fans let in before the end of the year.

Lawwel is a money orientated wank stain who couldn’t give one shiny shit about our game or even punters in stadiums. He looks like a complete welt too. **** knows how he’s got so much control over Scottish football when even the bawstain brigade hate the fat ride. Lawell is not stupid, he knew what he was doing since the early 2010s. Rangers had more control over SFA/SPL, but Rangers strated to crumple, so Lawell jumped in to take control of the levers of power. Get the SFA and the SPFL on side, get those in power favourable to Celtc. Meanwhile Rangers are flailing all over the place. So it makes Celtics job easier to take power. Make clubs more favourable to them. Celtic portray themselves as the champions of the downtrodden but they are the oppressors of Scottish football (with Rangers when they have their act together.) 7628mm
Lawell is saying he wants to have a "Pilot" scheme brought in in Scotland during August. So what he actually wants is to bring Celtic fans into Celtic Park for SPL games. Are they so insecure that they require their own fans inside Celtic Park to influence the game? They are just like the SFA/SPFL corrupt to the core

Ex member of the SaS
Lawwell is desperate for fans allowed in for the derby, If there are no fans before Christmas, Celtic are in deep do do . There is no way they can sustain their wage and overheads beyond the year end. By mouthing now he is trying to get things set up so they can fill Celtic park with the other load of bigots. Most saying the smaller teams will go under first but the bigger teams have much higher outgoings due to wages and larger stadiums. No other team has the backing we have with benefactors and Foh.
