jkbam
Great thread. From previous owner of my house I have a pond that is not much bigger than a kitchen sink, even that attracted 3 frogs for a cool off in the heat earlier this year. We had a toad living beside it for most of last year. So I'm planning to build a larger pond soon, this thread has added to my motivation, thanks. Re hedgehog chat, I've just made a hedgehog sized hole in my back fence to encourage them in https://scottishwildlifetrust.org.uk/activity/how-to-create-a-hedgehog-hole/

Beast Boy
Pickerel Weed started to break the surface a couple of weeks ago. Hoping for some nice purple flowers on my pond soon. Lots of lily pads now. I planted a wee wildflower meadow at the side of my house around the same time as I dug the pond. It’s now in full bloom and absolutely rammed with honey bees, bumble bees and hover flies.

Glad I could help in even a small way. Have you seen the toad houses you can buy? Cool as, but you could probably just make your own with some ceramic flower pots and some pliers. 👍
