Replacement Battery Samsung Galaxy S8

I've had my Galaxy S8 for a couple of years and it is still working well, except for the battery which is now pretty bad.

 

Can anyone recommend any shops that may do a good job replacing it?

 

I'm in the Gorgie area.

Yeah, did have a look into that, but couldnt find one with great reviews.

 

Plus the battery is sealed, and it looked quite a fiddly job to me!

Interested to hear back on this. I have s6 edge, had it 5 years or so now. Screen is smashed to bits. My battery is on the way out. On charge 100% unplug it and it drops into the low 90s. Be easier getting a new phone but id just drop and smash that too.

Sure there is a phone repair shop in Gorgie that could do it. Failing that simplyfixit I think they are claled might give it a go. 

 

The issue is anyone who tries it is risking breaking the back glass panel which you would then need to replace. At that point it may be worth just byuying a new phone.

I think there's a phone repair shop in Gorgie on the corner of Newton Street.  Mind the S8 is waterproof and a dodgy repair might spoil that.
