Japan Jambo
Hadn't seen anything before yesterday to commend him, but I was very impressed yesterday. Thought he looked well suited to the game we want to play. Shame an elbow to the face forced him off.

His fitness is looking much better since Stendel has been manager and he looked like he had pace yesterday. He had blood coming from his nose around the 40th minute and he was saying he had been elbowed in the face.
mc2607
Had some game yesterday to be fair, and deserves a lot of credit - he tracked back well and ran himself into the ground, also made some good runs and passes going forward and was basically everything you could ask for from a full back. I was all for him being one of the first out the door, but happy to keep him after his performance yesterday. But yeah, he seemed to have some sort of facial injury - he was bleeding from his nose and had to go off for treatment because of the blood shortly before he was taken off. Also took a hefty dunt to his bottom half when he collided with Perreira in the box quite early on.

Jambo92
Had a great game but it puts us at a severe disadvantage starting matches with a player you know will have to be subbed. Especially when half of the team are returning from injuries. What is the chat with Garrucio's absence?

wavydavy
I though that was probably his best performance so far and he looked very assured. He took a sore one as well when he chased back when they broke up the park and collided with Pereira.

To many players just hold their head to get the game stopped having been kicked on the leg? Bazzas right boot
The guy is a very decent player. Technically good, fast and plays with his head up. Been obvious since he joined tbh. His problem is clearly fitness, match fitness and imo his general physical health. If he can overcome that he'll be a really good player for us. Too many of our fans write players off too early. Could do with at least one fit f fb for the weekend as well, we do like to wipe out in one position at a time.
E6 Inc
Looks like the player who was so highly rated before his injuries is still in there. Actually has some serious pace in him. Assuming he was taken off as he had taken a head knock and nowadays you need to be so careful with concussion. Be interesting to see what happens when Hickey and him are both fit. That's something he is hopefully improving the more he trains and plays and yesterday was a marked improvement in that sense. Showed good pace on a couple of occasions to get back in and defend, the one on Aribo sticks out. I'm sure that's the second time he's taken a dull one to the face meaning he's had to be subbed, which is really unlucky.

Mikey1874
The concussion sub rule should come in. It works fine in rugby with just some abuse. In this case it should come with a 2 match ban for Flanagan.

Ex member of the SaS
Why not have a blood replacement like Rugby? If a player is bleeding then a free sub, you can't fake blood running down your face/leg /arm /arse.
