maroon
2 central midfielders behind the front 4 will be a huge decision. For me whelan must start but anyones guess who Levein will pair him with. Damour/Irving/Clare Middle of the park will be where the game will be decided

Looks a strong line up, just need it to click on the day. Midfield will be the key and if Whelan and Damour can play well in there they are surely stronger than the Hibs midfield. Snuff out Allan and it strangles their connect to the front players.

If that's the case, we are looking at: Pereira Smith Halkett Berra Hickey Damour Whelan Meshi Naismith Morrison Uche This in bold coming in

amadjambo
A fit goalie. Smith Hickey Halkett Dikamona Damour Whelan Meshino Naismith Mclean Uche Appreciate this might have a couple of controversial picks in Dikamona and McLean, but Berra has been hopeless this season, and we really don’t have any other viable options to support in attack. Lfhearts
Pereira Smith Berra Halkett Hickey Morrison Whelan Damour Mulraney Naisy Uche That's the team folks apart from any last minute fitness issues Bench Doyle Meshino Brandon Clare Dikamona Keena McLean

Not confirmed, but if the talk of six changes from the Motherwell starting lineup is right, then that is how I see the starting 11 Looks half decent, certainly enough to put the Hibs to bed, you would think!! Or am I over optimistic?

CostaJambo
I hope we play in the black kit, I am that desperate I would change anything (within reason) if I thought it might give us a win.

Depends if they have done their usual session at tynie today. It does become pretty clear if you watch them training. Unless injuries or illness get in the way. Watched them train on wed pre Aberdeen game a few weeks ago and got starting 11 correct on the Wednesday.

wavydavy
His first priority will be to try and not lose rather than try to win as usual so it will be a safety first selection. Naismith is bound to be involved irrespective of whether he is fully fit simply because of his influence on the team and fans. From a selection point of view not sure it really matters all that much because we all know what his tactics are and it will not be pretty. This game is all about not losing for him. buzzbomb1958
Doesn't matter how many combinations of teams anyone comes up with Levein being Levein will probably try something stupid and think he's a ****ing genius I've a feeling doesn't matter the opposition we will not win any games too soon, there is a poison which is now so deeply rooted at our club it can't be got rid of .There is only one way to sort this and although before I would not condone such action it's time for the fans to vote with their feet ,we keep paying for payments but empty seats will maybe be more potent that's where I'm at I'm so sad one man's ego has me saying this but I don't think I am in the minority
Roxy Hearts
It's a derby, where our record is superb regardless of our form. Craig will be up for this. I think there's a little more trepidation about this one though but hoping for the win, obviously. COME ON Heart of Midlothian!
