How many goals is Berra going to lose before he is dropped.

Ever since his last injury Christophe Berra has not been the same player he once was.

Lost a few yards of pace and time and time again it is showing.

His positional awareness has cost us this season along 3 goals.

One again today against celtic.

I hope he is dropped when Souttar is fully fit

Not going to knock Berra, its just his time to stop.

Legs are away and  never recovered from that injury.

Should be slipping into the background.

Id play Dikamona till Soapys back.

Have you seen the goal? I've not but I'll wait to see it before crucifying Berra. As for the rest I am unfortunately (sad to see such a club stalwart going down the pan before your eyes) in agreement with you.

Hes not been the same as he was but I'm also dont think hes had any confidence in the keepers that have been playing behind him.

He was partially to blame for the goal today but big Joel needs to be coming for that.

Seen it and it's bad.

Bullied by Celtic player and let's it come of his hip or thigh and into the net.

Keeper did come but Berra has to deal with it.

Bread and butter for a centre half

Just watched that back, that should've been Joel's ball all the way, Berra's positioning not great but keeper should be claiming that.

The Big Papa Phelps

Neither Christophe or Joel come out looking good but my thoughts are if the keeper commits he has to make sure he gets there.

Catchy song though.

Carried Olly Lee for the best part of a season.

Would you have dropped him while Souttar is unfit?

They were both at fault. If Joel was expecting berra to get it then he shouldn't have came off his line. Berra should've dealt with it

I'd like our keeper to be commanding in his box, he should take the initiative. Ours don't seem to do that.

Drop him and let him fight to get back into the squad.

I don't think he's finished but he needs a bit of time out to collect himself and reevaluate his decision making.

I don’t know if the good game against Motherwell is enough to protect his space in the team, I’d like to see dikamona get a run of games

Bobby was hung out to dry....christophe is undroppable!

He's not undroppable, but Souttar is out.

When Souttar is back, Berra should be dropped.

I’d have Souttar and Halkett as our first choice paring as well.

I saw it, the nick of Berra and Pereira to be quite honest.

Berra got dominated and the ball came into keepers territory with him nowhere to be seen. Maybe he got a call from Berra but he should have claimed that 100% anyway.

Sadly this.  Goals aside, twice today he tried to play a simple pass 5 yards in front of him to Hickey and booted it out the park.  What happens next?  He berates Hickey!

You can see the frustration on his face every game because he is an outstanding athlete and sets high expectations of himself in terms of performance.  If he’s to continue to play, and as captain, he needs to remind himself of how that frustration looks to the players who look up to him.  It doesn’t help.  He needs to be composed and in control.

Play as a team win lose draw.

Naw he's not, he's Scottish

Souttar Naismith Haring Walker to come into side. Smith going off knocked us out of shape and experience. Stick together as we're not going to be turned over easily by many sides when we have a full side out. The younger players and Ryotaro coming in means the LC v Aberdeen barring injuries etc could be our strongst side. We beat ourselves gave them a headstart playing to deep . 2 of the goals we're offside or close both daft to lose. Played decent in patches and may of stolen a draw if we had their luck. Back to pints

Far from comfortable with his own game, means its now impacting on others.

He can pass a ball something berra is incapable of.

There's a reason he's more than happy to be a perpetual substitute I'm afraid. As it stands, I think Souttar and Halkett will start against Hamilton if both fit.

Thing is we need him to play as Souttar is out. Berra needs a rest he's playing on spent gas while requiring injections trying to get over previous injury. Souttar and Halkett will play together soon and Berra will get to rest recover or even retire he won't give in easily.

Responsible for the first due to poor communication between him and Joel.

Berra's form has been exactly aligned with Hearts form since he returned....Just saying...

Some people would see that as instuctive and thus constructive. Others would say it is Berra that is to blame...

What kind of fan are you?

Time to take a step back.

He's well off the pace this year and has been at fault numerous times already this season.
