Didn’t last long. Started out badly got some superb videos courtesy of some ace Hearts fan including

Then the OP was getting it tight. Although to be fair he is more Hearts than the gardener

The Gorgie

What a helmet. It's wasn't to be, we didn't get embarrassed like most people thought and the players can hold their head high and move onto next season.

Your post is an epic failure.

Has anyone else noticed how many utterly negative posts are coming from people wth relatively few total posts.  Almost like they're signing up to kickback just to critisise.

Of course, no-one should read that me as making hibby troll accusastions at all.  Certainly not.

In no way was it a epic failure. If we had failed to win cup against Gretna that would be a epic failure. Or if Hibs beat us 5-1 in 2012 that would certainly be classed as a epic failure. Yesterday reminded me why I keep on buying a season ticket year on year. Left ground feeling nothing but pride in my team. Epic failure my Arse.

Have you Googled (or heaven forbid, looked up in a dictionary) the word ‘epic’?

Aye imagine how bad we must have been, with our free transfers from the English 3rd tier not being able to beat a team with a £10m centre forward, epic failure

The OP does have a point, albeit shittly made, that we did enough to urn that victory.

Wow really? We’ve lost a final to a dodgy penalty & a lapse in defence but overall we were excellent but no that’s not good enough let’s hammer the team while their down. This place never fails to amaze me. What would have rather we got pumped?

No-one is happy about losing the game. That doesn't make the game an epic fail. That's a logical fallacy.

Aye! But can you imagine how the hibs fans felt in 19/5/2012 when they lost to a poor hearts team 5-1

Celtic were only poor because our tactics made them poor.

Do you not understand that?

They won from a dive and a jammy break of the ball. That was the only chances they got in 90 minutes.

We controlled the game and completely nullified them.

If we had Naisy and a stronger bench, we’d have won the game.

100% agree with this...

In the lead up to the game the majority of Hearts fans were predicting a humping and worrying about humiliation. Now, having gone toe to toe with then, playing an excellent game that nullified their attacking threat, for the most part, we are now classing them as sh**e and saying it’s a failure! ?

It’s undoubtedly disappointing, but only because we played so well, not because Celtic are suddenly sh**e.

WTF?

You can’t find any positives?

Hicky, Clare and maybe Edwards.

We gave the richest tea in the league by far a bloody good game and a bit of luck it was there for the taking....I have spoke to a few Celtic fans today who have said they were lucky.

But nope, you carry on with your negative drivel which comes out in every post you make.

The irony being that the boards own epic failure finally crops up on this thread. He must have heard it calling him.

Ha Ha Ha. Their two goal “hero” cost more than all the teams (except Newco) together have paid in transfers putting squads together. You know what’s poor? Your comedy act.

Failure? Yes of course

Epic? Well in.many ways. Superb support. Mostly superb performances, some truly exceptional ones.

So I'd go with epic failure.

No one is happy we lost. Equally, there is comfort in the fact we gave it our best shot and frustration because we shot ourselves in the foot. Not an "epic fail".
