East Fife took Heart of Midlothian's very own Johnny Harvey on a one game loan for the replay of the final and went on to win the cup. Not a bad wee number for Johnny, one game and one Scottish Cup winners medal East Fife were also the first team in Scotland to win 3 league cups.
