Yep.  But the actual number rec'd that were received (legally) post voting day were exceptionally low in the grand scheme of things.

Looks like absentee, mail in votes got their votes in early.  That included Armed Forces who due to Covid were also encouraged to get votes in early this time.

I think.

None of it helped by the postal service having been hamstrung at Trump's behest.

Indeed, a lot of folk delivered their ballots by hand on the day.

This idiot is going to end up asking that he personally recounts every ballot himself, observed by coke head and Eric.

Only Trump votes count.

That's almost certainly fake nooz.  Even if she really felt that way, it's hardly likely that she'd announce it now.

Ex-Trump aid rumours sort of stuff. But it is likely his family are going to turn on each other.

Trump has lost.  Biden has won.

That has nothing to do with 'fake news'. That's the voice of the American people, determined by 75 million legitimate votes.

The legal process will not change that fact.

That fact will be written into American history on Inauguration Day in January 2021.

What we are witnessing now from Trump is the desperate thrashings of a dying animal.

The con man will not go away because he's the loudest voice in a craven Republican party, but his lying Tweets will come from the sidelines, not the White House.

He absolutely is, and no, he isn't.

I feel certain his fellow devout Christian, and Commander-in-Chief, will put aside his own justifiable sense of injustice and do the right thing for the fellow Americans he claims to care so much about.

Then again, maybe not.

Surely CNN would be updating with the figures given to them by those doing the counting.

The way their voting system works it wouldn't require the whole election to be fraudulent, just in what ever happens to be the most important swing states, checks and balances might suddenly be found wanting.

I've zero skin in the game tbh, my reply to ml was my first post on this thread. I felt the same this year as I did in 2016 that America had to choose between two awful candidates.

I would say though that whichever side of the fence you are on surely one would agree that any hint of dodgy voting practices or policing of the vote should be investigated and the links provided don't sit right with me personally. There may well be an innocent, rational explanation so will wait and see. Dodgy votes is for banana republics.

Of course genuine claims should be investigated

That is absolutely correct, but despite the allegations by Trump and his support no credible evidence has been produced it is said to actually justify the claims.

You could add the TV evangelicals as well, they also can make vast sums of money by preying on the gullible, in fact I'd wager that many of their prey have also been taken in by the likes of Alex Jones et al.

Here's one story I'm giving time to; mainly because I heard it from someone who recently left a job at Pfizer and still has many contacts there in quite senior positions.

Pfizer potentially could have made Sunday/yesterday's announcement about the vaccine a couple of weeks ago.

Trump, however (and probably rightly), has set his guns on big pharma to get them to lower prices in the States obviously threatening to hurt the profits and dividends of companies like Pfizer. Of course, even if it's the right thing to do, he's gone about it in a typical shouty, bullying, undiplomatic way; one guaranteed to piss off the pharma corps.

The brass at Pfizer, with a duty of care to their shareholders, have very possibly held off their vaccine announcement for fear of giving the Trump vote a bit of impetus.

So, we've got a very promising vaccine and a change of leadership in the US. One stone; two birds.

Came across this preacher recently, he's apparently amassed a fortune of 300 million dollars and preaches 'prosperity Christianity'.

Things have obviously moved on a bit from Jesus overturning the merchant's tables.

It's not really a mystery that America is in such a bad way when people are willing to put their faith in charlatans like this.

Do you think this guy genuinely believes in God/what he is saying, or is he just blatantly trying to rinse hundreds of absolute morons for a few bucks? Please excuse the possible naivety of my post!

Flat earthers will be a small part of it. A very high proportion of them are Creationist, man made climate change deniers.

Could well be both, he's explicit in wanting his congregation to give him money with the promise that God will repay them tenfold.

If you believe that then...

Wrecking Ball Donny swings into action.

According to various (un-named and unverified) sources, he's going to slap tons of sanctions on Iran and all other manner of weird far-right baws on the international stage.

Also, the Affordable Care Act is once again before the (now far right) Supreme Court, so they'll probably declare it unconstitutional, repeal it and leave millions of Americans with no insurance in the middle of the worst pandemic in a century.

He should run for UK Prime Minister when he's done screwing over the American people.

Would certainly slot right into the conservative party. A right bunch of cants and there's enough numpties in the UK that would welcome him too.

There really isn't. I live in a strongly Tory area though most certainly am not one myself. Most of them hate him and will be glad to see him gone. A recent poll in the UK re the US Presidential election was 78-22 in favour of Biden, which must have included a huge chunk of the Tory vote

Have they actually finished the count yet?

Is there a tally?

Count still going on. Latest totals below but nothing will change the overall results. You'll see Biden has a couple of million more votes now than when it was called on saturday. Obviously the only answer is Dems stuffing the ballot boxes. The sneaky ****ers have stuffed a few million more Trump votes in there too just to cover their tracks 🙂
