Maple Leaf
I threw a wee whisky blind-tasting test at my family Burns' dinner. Seven different whiskies, six of which were single malts and one blended. Tomatin was voted the best whisky, Old Parr the worst. And I was feeling grim the next day. I might have been the copious amounts of Innis and Gunn.
alwaysthereinspirit
Went to a nice wee place called The Haven Saturday night in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston. The owner did two dinner sittings. 6 and 9. Had a piper, read some poems, a wee sing song. Some Thistly Cross cider and a few single malts made for a fun night. The owner is from Stonehaven. Recommend it to any Boston based Jambos. Good selection of whisky and Scottish beers.
