Both fish okay. The ones mentioned above are the ones i have fished more than once, prefer river fishing. Find it a little more of a challange.. Although Roseberry reserviour can be okay got a couple of 4 pounders out of there.

Deek
In West Lothian you have Morton and Beecraigs, but both are for Stocky bashing.

Loved going to the tweed. Used to fish just outside peebles townwater right down to Cardrona. Got a couple of chases as they were building the Golf Course at the Cardrona Hotel. Then the Cardrona Hotel bought the strech of water from the hotel down and charge ?60 a day to fish it.

Dirk Diggler
Used to frequent Loch Fitty and Morton when I was younger. I have since developed a 'thing' about fish though. Can't look at, hold or eat them anymore.

I was up beecraigs last week and nailed 6 in 3hours on buzzers and diawl backs. Been fishing the river avon in lithgae recently and had a few nice browns up to a pound. Right into my carp fishing, have been doing it for years and Im off to canada in september to try and beat my PB of 39lb!!!
