I'd hazard a guess and say you have a dead bird in your chimney somewhere.
Cobblers
I'd hazard a guess and say you have a dead bird in your chimney somewhere. Reminds me of one of my worst experiences. Years ago my Mum and Dad's upstairs toilet got blocked. The drainpipe came down through the kitchen (boxed in). At the time I didn't realise that it also went up to the roof. There was a bit of the pipe which you could take off obviously to unblock the pipe if you needed to. I got a wire hanger and made a hook on the end of it to try to unblock the pipe as there was obviously something halfway up the pipe. I eventually hooked onto something and pulled it out through the hole in the pipe. It turned out to be a dead Blackbird that had somehow got stuck in the pipe. Unfortunately what I'd forgotten to think about was once I cleared the blockage everything that was behind it was going to come flooding out the hole. The kitchen and myself of course got absolutely covered in pash, sheite and used sanitary towels. (Thanks for warning me about that Mum) :Icky: So be warned when your trying to clear your chimney mate.
