Maple Leaf
I'm pleased to announce that, for the 5th consecutive year, JKB will be sponsoring the HMFC "Half-time Heroes" program. http://www.heartsfc.co.uk/pages/half-time-heroes This wonderful program is run by Alan "Chalky" White, and provides hundreds of primary school kids with a memorable match day experience at Tynecastle, including a kick-about on the hallowed turf at half-time. As always, thank you to our paid members, whose generosity and support makes this sponsorship possible.

JohnnyPunter
Thanks for the ongoing support guys HtH is one of our favourite programmes and we are delighted to have JKB as its supporter for yet another year. 300 kids per season have the opportunity to play on the hallowed turf due to JKB's backing which is fantastic. Thanks again on behalf of everyone at the club and the community football dept. Cheers Chalky @ch4lkster

Maple Leaf
Can I ask to what extent kickback'so sponsorship covers? Thanks. There are many things at the Club that are available for sponsorship. For example, you can sponsor a player's kit, or you can sponsor a game, or a match ball, or a player's award, or even the annual Awards Dinner. These are simply ways for the Club to earn more money. Similarly, you can sponsor the Half-time Heroes program, which is what JKB has been doing in recent years. The cost to JKB is ?2,000 per year. Unlike some of the other awards, there is no tangible benefit to JKB, other than the satisfaction of knowing that hundreds of primary school kids each year get a great day out at Tynecastle. the jambo poet
its great for the kids. I am a coach and have had my team here about 3 times (some to make up numbers with other age groups) but they are always treated brilliantly by chalky and the other lads. The chance for them to see a top flight game and play in front of the 2nd largest crowd each weekend is a great thrill. Even the non Hearts fans in the group have come away afterwards buzzing and talking about it for weeks. The parents and coaches are all involved too and again I'm pretty sure we have picked up a few more jambos along the way which makes it worthwhile. a great gesture!! Totally agree mate, our boys, the tranent colts 2008's age group, were there against ICT last week, brilliant day for kids, coaches and parents.. And at least one of the wee Hibs supporting lads had his head turned!! Lol.. 100% worth sponsoring JKB, well done
