C'mon now, a more professional "Premiership" style of match day thread is required.
hmfc4life1991
No idea what Sherbourne are like, are they better or worse than the mob we played the other night? Well they are sitting 4th in the 2nd tier, relegated a couple years ago from the top tier so should be an easier game based on that
shelsfan
No idea what Sherbourne are like, are they better or worse than the mob we played the other night? There shouldn't be a big difference in quality.Bohs played a mixture of under 19's, trialists and first team players in need of game time. We usually just use our under 19's in these games but we don't have a league game this week so some of the first team might get a few minutes. A reminder to any Hearts fans heading to the game. The bar in the ground will be open from 12:
EreWeG0..
No idea what Sherbourne are like, are they better or worse than the mob we played the other night? Jambof3tornado
Do we think it will be a different Hearts team each half or something else? Early days so clearly plenty time yet for Robbie to fiddle around with players/tactics etc.

mainstandjambo
Do we think it will be a different Hearts team each half or something else? Early days so clearly plenty time yet for Robbie to fiddle around with players/tactics etc.According to Robbie's interview on Hearts TV, it will be 2 different line ups although he mentioned some players may miss out as they are carrying niggles. No names were mentioned. Also said trying to get left back deal finalised next week and looking for a centre back as well.
peter_hmfc
Saw Shelbourne vs Finn Harps at Tolka Park last Friday when they won 3-2. They looked awful in the first half and Finn Harps ran them ragged. They improved for the 2nd half though they need two penalties and a slip for their third to win. Their key striker who scored the penalties reminds me of John Robertson, not that he scores for fun or runs riot in in derbies, more that he's definitely the fat striker of the team. I thought at the time that we should take a few off them, but after the narrowness of the win earlier in the week I'm not so sure. Also Tolka Park looks like a throw-together of other teams cast-off stands, like a mismatched Mr Potatoe Head. They do a great sausage and chips though, I'll give them that. Why would you even watch the highlights of a pre season knock about, surely you knew it was going to be just that and not a high tempo thriller. Kiwidoug
So a score prediction then. Not that I could give a toss for what is essentially a training run but I'll go for 1-5 with Juanma grabbing a couple.

I usually wouldn't but it's been pissing with rain all morning, and my other option is escorting my wife and daughter to the Gyle, so yes watching Hearts in a boring meaningless friendly on a dodgy stream does have a certain appeal at this time
