It's mind blowing stuff, isn't it.

Dotnut is a modern day Bedlam for Hearts supporters.

We really shouldn't go there and observe the patients but it's difficult not to.

They’re ahead of us in every department, apart from league position, turnover, attendances, season ticket holders, Scottish cups, league cups, derby wins at Tynecastle, derby wins at Easter Road, derby wins at Hampden, derby wins in cup finals.

But for the important stuff, they’re ahead of us obviously.

Hibs derby wins aren't even ahead of derby draws.

149  Hearts wins

102  draws

 87  Hibernian wins

...in all 3 competitions

I think the hibees gone a bit mad since the pandemic. To be fair, we have absolutely thrashed them. Including two wins at hampden, the first one being an embarrassement that they have no right to ever get over.

My experience is that they are reasonably pleased with a defeat by the odd goal (like the most recent Shankland derby at ER), and over the moon with a draw. Even the 3-0s of last season, I mind hearing John Collins on the radio after both games saying they were the better team.

Plus Marcondes is on £18,000 a week apparently. He won't be there for long.

Players who have been caught shoplifting, snorting coke, texting under age lassies, p!shing themselves in taxis, most under 16 season tickets sold in the league, pitch invasions by fans, smoke bombs, throwing objects at opposition players, heroin addicts or those on the methodone programme. I’m sure there will be others in their trailblazing history…….

Add to that stability, non-football income (hotel etc), wealthy benefactor (who actually cares about the club), more promising youngsters, and of course, kebab pies.

On sportscene results it's funny how the reporter always mentions the attendance before giving his match report 🤔

They don’t know the meaning of embarrassment, they keep supplying lots of these moments on and off the pitch!
Looking forward to them storming up the league and snatching 3rd place, wait a minute, was that guy being over optimistic? 😂😂

Talk what though all Hibs are doing is tying themselves to loans with these clubs.Whats so great about it I mean if Hearts ( or any other club ) want to loan a player we can ask about clubs there is no need to tie yourself in with them. " Multi club format gives us the edge " **** me 🤣

It's a good question as to what it takes to get 3rd place.

Build a good squad. Hibs look to be 2 or 3 years away from that though they could be lucky if Vente and Levitt suddenly deliver, Josh Campbell and Chris Cadden come back from imjury as better players and they can get a few good loan players like Marcondes. But it's still also dependent on the opposition. Hearts are talking about signing better players as they have more money to spend. Surely at some point Aberdeen might get a good manager. And you can't discount the likes of Kilmarnock and Motherwell.

I actually don't think Aberdeen and Hearts are aiming to be the 3rd place club. They have higher ambitions. Hibs need to start thinking about aiming to be a top six club.

Very true. In fact as others have said you are just as likely to limit yourself tying yourself to one club. We have contacts all over England.

Yeah that does not sound like they are having “ Foley millions “ poured in thats for sure . They are getting kids and fringe players from Bournemouth and relegation haunted Lorient . Basically the same level as they were shopping at anyway but with a more limited range

was just going to pair this link.  So they won’t have a financial advantage, the hope to secure loans.

are we suddenly not able to loan players like? 🤣 i mean haven’t we just loaned Lembikisa who wolves value at £3m.

Will other English EPL teams now be as keen to loan players to hibs with their wolves connection?

Exactly . It sounds more like Ian Gordon and Ben Kensell admitting they made an absolute ***** of the recruitment side of things and they are hoping Bournemouth will throw them some scraps with their scouting systems . The amount of turd polishing going on down Lochend way is frightening

They can spin it all they want. We have a competitive advantage over them with all the year round income from FOH and a stadium environment generating cash every day of the year. Meantime they are flogging discounted season tickets to finance their working capital requirements for the close season. That's even taking benefactor money out the equation. We have a financial model that is robust and relatively easy to project future income streams. They are flying by the seat of their pants with hope and at the whim of an investment group who had probably never heard of Hibs until fairly recently.
