These things matter, anyway I've just got back from New York today after doing the red eye to Dublin and then delayed flights to Edinburgh, so I've been up for about 36 hours and don't feel tired. I got return for ?480. And Dublin flights are cheap.

Delta return to Orlando (which is what I'm doing - staying in New York for the night of the 17th) is ?344 per person. Delta return to JFK from Edinburgh is ?284 (on the 17th to the 20th, for example) which is much better.

Flew to Orlando from Glasgow via Iceland ( with free trip to the blue lagoon ) cheaper than that. Ps Didn't go anywhere near Japan tho.
