Exactly. In my eyes only a pint of Heineken export (The 5% one) beats a good cold Tennents. Can't stand Bud.

super_vlad
14 quid in a offie on brougham street. well worth it, if you are going to the meadows or a house party, they had a warestein one last time as well for a tenner
Taffin
What you after one of those for? Just steal a big one from your work. ps. Tennents, pish water

cosanostra
How many pints do they hold? Tennents = industry standard, good quality, Scottish beer. When served cold on a warm day, there are few better.
Cobblers
5 Litres so just over 9 pints

Cobblers
I think the biggest problem is keeping it cold while you drink it. You need a big fridge or a very big ice bucket
cosanostra
What do you do with the keg when done? Is there a deposit or do you bin them?
Cobblers
There's no deposit so I imagine you just bin them. (In your recycling bin of course)
Do The Dance
Bought one of these at new year. Approx ?13 in Sainsburys at Gorgie. I thought it was really good - takes 24 hours to cool (clear a large area of your fridge) and should stay cold for about 12 hours. Although it stays fresh for a month, I would recommend drinking it all in that 12 hour period.
Dr Ian Malcolm
Got a couple last year from the local Supermarket at Bennicassim - they're a bit pish. The first few pours come out as foam and they're a b*****d to keep cold. You'd be better off getting a crate in (as long as it's no Tennet's ya phillistine!). tommythejambo
What you after one of those for? Just steal a big one from your work. ps. Tennents, pish water Would be a bit of a mission to lug an 88 pint keg up a flight of stairs and out through the bar without anyone noticing though. I have to agree with Cosanostra, on a summers day nothing beats a good cold pint of T.
Craigieboy
I love Tennents. The diggers does a keg of 80 shiling but it's overpriced at ?20 IMO. .
inspector
I love Tennents. The diggers does a keg of 80 shiling but it's overpriced at ?20 IMO. . Stewart Brewing at Bilston Industrial Estate does IPA and Digger's Heavy and others at ?15/?16 per 8 litre keg. Really good beer and its 'buy 4 get 1 free' (5 for the price of 4) is an unbeatable offer. Fab beer, far too easy to drink:thumb: If anyone from Stewarts is reading this, can I have a small token of your appreciation? No? Oh Well....................or a word that only you and me will know. They can go in the metal/glass recycle bins
