Harry Palmer
Teams: Spain: Casillas; Arbeloa, Ramos, Pique, Alba; Busquets, Alonso, Xavi; Iniesta, Silva, Fabregas France: Lloris; Reveillere, Rami, Koscielny, Clichy; Debuchy, M'Vila, Cabaye, Malouda, Ribery & Benzema Spain go without a recognised striker again. A bit too close to call this one.

Martin_T
OH MY GOD THIS THIS THIS!!!!!!!!!!! Hope spain get humped but cany see it 2-0 spain i reckon It's almost as if they are trying to change the object of football to retaining possession for 90 minutes. Why not go the whole hog and stick a midfielder in goals as well? Tedious to watch.

rossthejambo
Don't know why but I think France will win this. Spain have been a bit disappointing and no strikers again. Benzema's due a goal too. Thought of this the other day, last 2 times we've won the cup, France have got to the final of a major tournament. Could be a sign.

frankblack
I've just turned on ITV and its been nothing but England this, and England that and about the Italy game tomorrow. What the **** has this got to do with the Spain vs France game - show some coverage of the superior teams from the continent, please. The sooner the Italians empty them out of the tournament, the better. Although it would be more satisfying for the Germans to do it.

mullen13
Carragher only gets asked a question then answers it by asking Keane a question, seen him do it so many times. I genuinely USUALLY want England to do well but after their media impressed me with their understatement of their chances before the tournament they are back to their usual self. Showing the route to the final, what to do if they play the Germans etc. They are really not sure to beat Italy first. Doing my head in which means I want them to get pumped tomorrow night. shaun.lawson
Who wrote them off against Paraguay?! Seriously, they were pretty much favourites for the whole thing - even I they did lose their first game. It's the Portugal game I was thinking of. Then against Germany, the consensus was "Germany have bottled it/haven't turned up tonight", rather than the reality of "Spain have been brilliant, and haven't let them play". Spain are still the team to beat until such time as they lose. Which most of us think will be in the final, v Germany - but well, who knows?
