jamboinglasgow Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 How is he suspended? He did not get booked last week or the week before.
Deevers Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 How is he suspended? He did not get booked last week or the week before. Papers all said he was booked at Ibrox.
rossthejambo Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Papers all said he was booked at Ibrox. Yea think he got booked for holding on to McCulloch's arm and then getting pushed.
Problem Officer? Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 The last two derbies at Easter Road he was an absolute bomb scare. I'd rather he played but it's not as if Barr or McGowan can't step in, especially against such a shite Hibs team.
Rudiboy Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Sometimes I do think Zaliukas is suspect at times, but would much rather we had him available for the derby. McGowan will just need to step in
Rudiboy Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Sometimes I do think Zaliukas is suspect at times, but would much rather we had him available for the derby. McGowan will just need to step in Hope Webster doesn't get a straight red tomorrow, otherwise he will miss derby too!
colinmaroon Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 The tread about the opportunity for League re-construction is the best on JKb at the moment, with some excellent posts! This is the worst!
jamboinglasgow Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Papers all said he was booked at Ibrox. The BBC and papers I have read said only Barr was booked against Rangers.
milky_26 Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 The BBC and papers I have read said only Barr was booked against Rangers. bbc say zal was booked in the 73rd minute also they have glen being booked
Deevers Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 The BBC and papers I have read said only Barr was booked against Rangers. Nope Gary Glen and Zal were both also booked.

NewYorkJambo Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 yeah great news that we miss our captain in a edinburgh derby you must be one of they lochend ****? Great news that one of he most overrated and mistake prone defenders in the league misses a big match which is when he usually makes his errors. So yeah, great news. Delighted he won't feature.
Dean Winchester Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Great news that one of he most overrated and mistake prone defenders in the league misses a big match which is when he usually makes his errors. So yeah, great news. Delighted he won't feature. :Vlad-Stupid:

So yeah, great news. Delighted he won't feature. I thought only Barr was booked at Ibrox... Even thought it was the first time in years we only had 1 player booked at Ibrox
jamboinglasgow Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 bbc say zal was booked in the 73rd minute also they have glen being booked ah, they have updated the page since I last saw it.

So yeah, great news. Delighted he won't feature. why don't you name some SPL defenders who are better this should be fun I can think of Webster, Mulgrew and Bocanegra
jamboinglasgow Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 My link Osbourne and the Road Runner suspended also.... What did Fraser Mullen do? Reached his limit for yellow cards last week against St Mirren under 19s. Funny seeing it put as 1 first team match (would presume that includes under 19 matches too.)
Jambo, Goodbye Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 My link Osbourne and the Road Runner suspended also.... What did Fraser Mullen do? He got yellow carded in the last U19s game and has a possible suspension looming for the U19's Maybe youth players who are registered with the first team as I think he is have their suspensions applied to the U19 and the senior SPL leagues?

So yeah, great news. Delighted he won't feature. Seen much of Zaliukas in the last 4 years, Mark?
Guest Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 The problems with Big Zal is that you never know which one is going to turn up. When he's on his game he's as good as anyone, when he has a honker, he's an effing nightmare. I'm sure we'll cope

When he's on his game he's as good as anyone, when he has a honker, he's an effing nightmare. I'm sure we'll cope When Zaliukas concentrates for the full match there aren't many defenders in the SPL better than him. When is shit, he is shit! Altho if he did concentrate 99% of the time, he wouldn't be at our club.
Clerry Jambo Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 why don't you name some SPL defenders who are better this should be fun I can think of Webster, Mulgrew and Bocanegra Gavin Gunning Shaun Hutchison Ryan McGowan Mark Reynolds Thomas Rogne Zander...oops sorry he is doon south now
Sten Guns Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Pleasing. Absolute bomb scare. What was he doing with that push against Rangers? Lucky there. Can be as good as he wants, but his incidents that pop up are horrific.
Currahee! Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 It Hibs we're playing ffs. I'll step in and well still win. I'm no very good and lost the 1 yard of pace I had when I was 18 and I'd still stroll it.
H.A.N.S Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAS WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO YA BEAUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUTY

Altho if he did concentrate 99% of the time, he wouldn't be at our club. The trouble is he does not do that often enough though concentrate I mean.

Altho if he did concentrate 99% of the time, he wouldn't be at our club. Couldn't disagree more. When he passes the ball to the opposition or scores own goals his faults stand out a mile. But the positions he finds himself in whilst marking are sometimes mind blowing. He follows the ball and not the man.
Rudiboy Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 The trouble is he does not do that often enough though concentrate I mean. My point exactly, he is still a Hearts player for that reason!
winston churchill Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 That's a real pity so it is. No OG,Penalties,or him getting sent off. Mr Webster can also concentrate on his own game for a change.
winston churchill Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 When Zaliukas concentrates for the full match there aren't many defenders at the corn exchange better than him.
Dr. Sheldon Cooper Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 This thread . We are a better side with Zaliukas in defence.
Tommy Wiseau Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Our record without Zaliukas in defence is atrocious. But yeah, GREAT NEWS THE BOMBSCARE IS OOT and all that, eh?
I.J Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 ZALIUKAS IS A BOMBSCARE MACDONALD IS A BOMBSCARE HAMMILL IS A BOMBSCARE GRAINGER IS A BOMBSCARE OBUA IS A BOMBSCARE Anyone I've missed out? Apologies if so, it's probably because - to this day - I still don't have the slightest inkling what the bombscare thing means.
amadjambo Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Zaliukas being suspended is terrible news. Regardless of what some say and think, he is a vital member of our team. But, it is only Hibs we are playing and either Barr or McGowan will be more than capable of dealing with vermin. I just hope that we get to see another legendary Cruyff turn from Griffiths!
Craigieboy Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Tbh, I'm not his biggest fan but he strolls through derby games. He will be a miss.
Uncle Buck Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 why don't you name some SPL defenders who are better this should be fun I can think of Webster, Mulgrew and Bocanegra This! Big miss for us. Let's just hope McGowan or Barr can step in and do a job
Problem Officer? Posted March 9, 2012 Posted March 9, 2012 Tbh, I'm not his biggest fan but he strolls through derby games. He will be a miss. He's been dreadful in two of the last three derbies.
