Last time we finished 3rd we did so with 61 points. The time before that (no Rangers in the league) we finished 3rd behind Aberdeen with 65 points. This season we have 66 points already with Naismith setting a target of 70 points. That’s progress for you. And we all know there were games where we lost when we shouldn’t and dropped points when we shouldn’t too. It’s fine margins of course, apparently yesterday was our first win by more than 2 goals all season. If we can somehow build on what we’ve done this season, rather than stall or fall back, it could be a very special one next season.
