Much needed too, as a club we needed to coach out flaws and bring on players!! 👍

Just could not take to these two . Far too small . Did not win enough headers . Same with McCann , always thought he could have played at a higher level if he was a couple of inches taller

Not sure I agree with you. Shankland as an example would be well worth it. In saying that, I wouldn't be paying anything like a £1m for Armstrong and I'm sure Kilmarnock won't get anything like that figure either. Signing a player that can deliver pinpoint crosses for the likes of Shankland is worth pursuing though. Armstrong can do that, his value to us in that aspect would be huge. If the price is right, I think he could be a great signing for us. A player in his last year of a contract at a club like Kilmarnock....... I'd be surprised if they get more than £400 thou IMHO. -

Jarnail Singh. 😂 Yes it should be cringeworthy stuff. The man is meant to be a criminal lawyer. I think that should be criminally bad lawyer. I started watching this during the previous phase and my missus said "Why the hell are you watching that?" Now she's totally hooked. Part of this is thanks to good old Jarnail after I showed her his last performance. She was gobsmacked that such an incompetent moron found himself in a position to be able to ruin so many lives. She's since realised he's not the only one. -

The greater good here is making sure that Scotland does not need to go to the polls before the next GE to elect new MSP's. If that happens it would be a disgrace. I am hoping that politicians from all the Scottish parties understand that. If it happens voters will turn away in droves, even more so than before IMHO. All the parties can squabble as much as they like, that is politics but failing and deliberately costing Scottish tax payers further is not on. -

So when do the usual types on here start wetting themselves over which end we get at Hampden against an Old Firm team? -
Although not official yet but Saturday's draw has nailed us 3rd. That was our target at start of season so big tick for a successful season. Adding a trophy would have made it a truly great season but as we all know that's easier said than done.

He has an incredible footballing brain. Sadly he also has a heart the size of a pea. If you could combine his and Devlin's attributes you could make some player.
-
Always thought Liverpool would be first to tail off of the 3. I said to friend's a couple of months ago that I didn't think they were as good as the media were making them out to be and really all this talk of going for 4 trophies was just nonsense.

Guns and certain dogs. Both completely safe in the right hands. sadly we as a society have certain things restricted for the safety of all, due to the worst among us. -
Funny how we never heard the same remarks from them about Neilson when he was failing. I think one who posted a lot on this thread said it was the fans fault that Neilson was underperforming

The reality is both arse cheeks will be under pressure from their respective rabbles to spend big in the summer. It will be hard enough to stop them getting even further ahead. Both have been mediocre by their own standards and lost games they wouldn't have expected to. How do we deal with that? Even with our improved budget who do we buy to genuinely get closer. We aren't going to spend enough to be neck and neck with them over a season. So I think in league terms we need players to extend the gap between us and those below. Not quite as expensive a target as matching the uglies. I've no idea if Anderson is a target. He certainly wouldn't be our marquee signing, but possibly could be useful. Looks more of a penalty box player, someone Naismith particularly could get a tune out of. So, yes if he could chip in more than Boyce and Tagawa have this season then he could help up us chalk up more points next season. Sadly catching the gruesome twosome will be well beyond our budget. -

Danny Armstrong would do even better surrounded by better players imo but not sure I'd be making him our record signing ! If we spending that kind of money on a player I'm certain we'd get better value elsewhere -
I agree with you on Shankland v St Mirren, it was a really technically brilliant finish

Definitely! Don’t think it’s a coincidence that we were conceding for fun from set pieces last season to not conceding a single goal from a corner the full league campaign. 15 league clean sheets aswell. He’s been an absolute Rolls Royce and I think having such a steady centre half has helped players like Rowles and even Kingsley perform to their best level too -
